Crock Pot Recipe: Beefy Noodles

This is one of our staple comfort food meals in our house. My mom made this for us when we were growing up and I’ll never get sick of it. My husband and kiddo love it now, too. This recipe is quick to throw together and is perfect for any season. Hope you love it as much as we do!

Ingredients:

  • Beef (top or bottom round, cut into pieces if needed)
  • 1 can of beef broth
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can of cream of celery soup
  • 1 packet of onion soup mix
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Gravy Master
  • Pepper
  • Egg noodles or mashed potatoes (or at my house, both!). Rice works, too!

Instructions:

  1. Combine the beef broth, the cream of mushroom soup, the cream of celery soup, the packet of onion soup mix, and the tablespoon of Gravy Master right in the crockpot. I recommend stirring with a silicone coated whisk that won’t scratch the inside of your crockpot.
  2. Once combined, drop the meat into the gravy mixture and push it under so you can’t see it. If the meat is too large to fit in one piece or you are doubling the recipe, cut it into pieces and layer in the crockpot.
  3. Cook for 8 hours on low.
  4. When you’re ready to eat, stir and break up the meat into bite sized chunks.
  5. Serve over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes with a veggie or salad on the side.

*Note: Sometimes I toss in onions or mushrooms in the crockpot if I have them!
